Many people have been asking me for beginner guitar lessons. I've collected the material that I've been teaching through the years and assembled it into a course offering. This is a virtual class that is conducted via Zoom. Each class is 45 minutes long.

1)Teach students how to tune their guitar.
2)Teach 5 basic chords and have the student play them. G, C, D, A and E 3)Teach students how to read notes in the first 3 frets of a guitar on all of the strings. 4)Teach students how to read music notes on a staff ranging from the low E to the high G 5)Teach students 4 of the most common strumming techniques 6)Teach students to read notes and play them on a guitar in the first four frets of a guitar 7)Teach students how to play a two octave scale in any position on a guitar 8)Teach students a basic blues rhythm to a common blues song 9)Teach students how to play a song with guitar tabs 10)Teach students how to sing and play a song with words and chords on a sheet of paper 11)Teach students how to write their own original music 12) Learn to find and play tabs |
Schedule
Each class is :45 minutes. All classes are charged monthly and conducted via Zoom.
The student is expected to practice at least 15 minutes per day in between classes.
Typically this course will take 6 months to complete.

Requirements
1) The student must have a functioning guitar. Preferably acoustic if possible. They range from $50 to $500 for beginner instruments.
